I started to get a bit of reputation at work of being the guy who might buy your car if it was for sale (at the right price). On this occasion a colleague asked me if I'd be interested in his wifes Yaris. Turned out it was the little 1.4 vvti version, which made it a little more tempting. 

At the time, my sister was looking for another car so I decided to buy it, give it a once over and sell it to her (for a profit...obviously).

Overall it was fairly straightforward but a previous MOT had highlighted some rust underneath which I cleaned up. While I was under it, I found a little hole under the side skirt that needed welding. Along with cleaning and painting some other bits so it would be good for years to come, it was a fairly quick turnaround. At the time of writing, it's still in the family and rust hasn't been mentioned on any subsequent MOTs.

Note: There weren't many pictures of the work on this car at all as my phone camera was going through a funny spell at the time.
